Pegasus Parts are a non-franchised supplier of spare parts for Land Rover, Range Rover, Discovery and Freelander models. We stock Genuine Land-Rover, OEM and replacement specification parts.

Most parts listed as in stock are available for shipping the day after payment has been received. Please bear in mind that the stock listing on this website has to be updated manually and so is not 100% accurate as we sell a lot of items through eBay and by private transaction.

On some items zero stock on hand will show and the message 'Out of stock. Delivery time is extended on out-of-stock items.' will appear.

The system will still let you order and we will re-stock the item. Pegasus Parts operates a very lean 'just-in-time' re-stocking policy in order to reduce inventory holding and overheads.

Part Number Suffix Codes

Unless otherwise stated, all components are of replacement or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specification.

The following codes are used at the end of part numbers to denote various other specifications:

No code present after the part number indicates the part is either OEM boxed, of replacement specification that is equivalent or better in quality than original, or Genuine Land-Rover boxed.

BPB Manufactured from blue polyurethane material. Soft compound. More suited to road use.

C Contains a copper head gasket, where an alternative gasket set exists with a non-retorque type head gasket.

GAT Drive Belt or Timing Belt manufactured by Gates. Of superior quality to Dayco or other OEM manufacturers. Drive Belts tend to run quieter.

GLD Galvanised finish

HD Indicates a Heavy Duty version of an existing component.

KIT Indicates component is a kit which includes additional piece parts usually required for fitting.

N Contains a non-retorque type head gasket, where an alternative gasket set exists with a copper type head gasket.

OEM Original Equipment Manufacturer. Used where the same item is available as replacement specification or Genuine Land-Rover.

OME Shock absorber or damping component manufactured by Old Man Emu.

PAY Gasket set manufactured by Payen.

REC Reconditioned component. Usually, no exchange component is required.

REP A replacement specification part that has an OEM or genuine equivalent available. Generally used on safety critical components such as braking and steering components. Also used on Shock Absorbers.

RPB Manufactured from red polyurethane material. Harder compound than blue. More suited to off-road use.

SS   Stainless steel.

Other abbreviations

LHD   Left Hand Drive

NA   Naturally Aspirated, applies to non-turbo Diesel engines

NLA No longer available

RHD   Right Hand Drive

SW    Station wagon

Quantities

All items listed are for 1 of each item unless stated otherwise, usually by a quantity in brackets after the part number, e.g. ERC 3606 (8) is a set of 8 off V8 Exhaust Manifold Gaskets. A note will also usually appear in the description.

Handedness

Some components and parts on vehicles are handed, e.g. doors, door components, body panels, lamps, some exterior mirrors etc.

As a general rule, handedness refers to the side of the vehicle when viewed from the rear.

There are of course exceptions. Ball Joints or Track Rod Ends on early vehicles can be fitted either side, and so these need to be checked before ordering. And for some reason alternators are referred to as left hand or right hand fitting when looking towards the engine from the front.

The price you see displayed, is the price you pay.

For EU based customers, please note that a lot of our competitors add VAT to parts prices and shipping price at the checkout stage.

Delivery times

Where possible we try to ship orders for spare parts the day after payment has been made or has cleared. However at peak times this may not be acheivable, especially if there is unexpected high demand for certain items. In such cases we will ship within 5 working days.

Returns Policy

If for any reason you are not 100% happy with a supplied component, we offer a no-quibble money back guarantee. We would ask however that returned components and spare parts are sent back, clean, unused and in their original undamaged packaging.

Items returned from outside of the EU will not be refunded until UK customs duty and handling fees have been paid by the sender.

Please also include the chassis number or VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to help us. If ordering parts for engine, gearboxes or axles, it is also useful to have those unit serial numbers, if available.

If chassis number or VIN is not available, please provide year and model of vehicle.
