Air Intake Hose, 1955 to 1958, 2 Litre Petrol

Replacement version of the original style hose with corrugated ribs and correct end cuffs.

This version is 10" long overall length.

Suitable only for Series 1 and Series 2, 2-litre Petrol engines from 1955 to 1958.

This new hose is very stiff to bend through 90°, so it may be neccessary to fit the hose to the carburettor end, temporarily remove the air cleaner from its cradle, fit the hose to the air cleaner and and then refit to the cradle.

Could be fitted to earlier vehicles in conjunction with the later type Air Cleaner without the pre-cleaner, 263148.
