Brake Master Cylinder, CB Type, 88" only, Replacement specification

Suitable only for:

• Series 2 and 2a, 88", RHD Petrol models up to 24131336D.
• Series 2 and 2a, 88", LHD Petrol models up to 24431621D.
• Series 2 and 2a, 88", RHD Diesel models up to 27108693D.
• Series 2 and 2a, 88", LHD Diesel models up to 27405072D.

Whilst we do not normally supply replacement specification brake and steering components, the availability and price of the OEM version of this master cylinder is prohibitive.

With suitable conversion kit, this master cylinder can also be used on Series 1 models with 10" brakes.

CB stands for Compression Barrel. i.e. this master cylinder works in the conventional manner with fluid from the reservoir entering the port nearest the push rod and being compressed out the further port to the brake pipes and wheel cylinders.

CV stands for Centre Valve, and the ports are reversed.
